The conference will take place at the university main building in downtown Hamburg, Edmund-Siemers-Allee 1, D-20146 Hamburg, Germany. The building is located directly opposite Dammtor railway station, which is one stop away from Hamburg Central Train Station.

Delegates should ensure when booking flights to Germany, they book to arrive in Hamburg Airport. 
Hamburg City and Hamburg Airport are well serviced by public transport (both bus and rail). For delegates traveling by train, the German Railway (DB) offers special event tickets: Order hotline +49 (0)180 631 11 53, reference "Medisert" (keep credit card information at hand).

Delegates can conveniently book a hotel during the online registration process (hotels and prices). For the individuals that book their own accommodation, please consult the many hotel/hostel search engines (to ensure easy connection to the conference venue, choose a hotel/hostel close to "Dammtor" or "Main" train station).

The conference office and registration desk will be located on the ground flour of the main building.

The workshop will take place at the DESY premises. The address is Notkestrasse 85, D-22607 Hamburg. Affordable on-site housing for students will be made available (Sep. 13 to 16 only, 3 nights, no extention possible due to other workshops) by the workshop organizers. Thus, workshop participants have to book a hotel during the online registration process (once accepted) or, self-organize a hostel/hotel for the time of the conference (4 nights, starting September 16th).
